• Will MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo strip colour from my hair?

  MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo was designed to re-set or remove any of the MUVO coloured shampoos when you’re ready to return to your original hair colour. MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo clarifies to remove temporary colour but should not remove permanent, demi or semi colours. We always recommend caution is taken when using Deep Cleansing Shampoo on semi-permanent colours because some hair doesn’t accept semis well and can therefore be removed more easily.

• Will MUVO Scalp Cleansing Spray strip colour from my hair?

  MUVO Scalp Cleansing Spray uses natural acids to remove build up and dead scalp skin. MUVO temporary shampoos wash out in 1-2 washes in most cases and Scalp Cleansing Spray may cause that to happen more quickly. It is not meant to remove permanent, demi or semi colours.

• Are MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo & Scalp Cleansing Spray safe to use on hair extensions?

  MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo & Scalp Cleansing Spray are both safe to use on weft hair extensions only. We do not recommend the use of MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo or Scalp Cleansing Spray on tape hair extensions, as the glue may be dissolved. Instead, we recommend the Totally Naked range for tape extensions.

• Who should use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo? And how do I know it’s right for my hair type?

  MUVO Deep Cleanse can be used on all hair types. However, Deep Cleansing Shampoo is perfect for removing hairspray, styling products, dry shampoo, pomades and pastes. Also great if you are wanting to remove any of the MUVO temporary coloured shampoos, (when you’re ready to return to your original colour).If you have fine, limp, oily hair or experience hormonal issues and have thinning hair, then Deep Cleansing Shampoo will assist in giving volume back, assist with scalp issues and oiliness.

• How do I use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo?

  The application and usage of Deep Cleansing Shampoo is vital in order to encourage new hair growth and stimulate the scalp. Starting at the back of the scalp, massage in Deep Cleansing Shampoo and work towards the front of the scalp. We recommend starting at the nape or back of the neck because this is where your hair will accumulate the most build-up and oils.Repeat the process again if necessary. TIP: the first shampoo is to remove product, the second shampoo is to clean and stimulate your hair and scalp. Condition with any MUVO Conditioner.Deep Cleansing Shampoo is best paired with MUVO’s silicon Scalp Brush to provide the ultimate scalp massage and stimulate blood flow to encourage new hair growth.

• How do I use Scalp Cleansing Spray?

  Before shampooing, spray MUVO Scalp Cleansing Spray directly onto a dry scalp. Massage in and wait for 3-5 minutes. Step into the shower and rinse thoroughly with water. For best results follow with MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo onto your wet hair. We also recommend using with the MUVO Scalp Brush; starting at the back of the scalp, massage in with the MUVO Scalp Brush and work towards the front of the scalp. We recommend starting at the nape or back of the neck because this is where your hair will accumulate the most build-up and oils.

• How often should I use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo?

  The frequency and use of MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo depends on a few things; how oily your hair gets naturally and your product use. MUVO Deep Cleanse can however be used as often as every time you wash your hair.Some people are frequent and heavy-handed users of styling products. If this is the case, we suggest you use Deep Cleansing Shampoo maybe once or twice a week. Those with short hair and using heavier styling products can feel free to use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo every wash.We recommend that naturally oily haired people also use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo once or twice a week. After a few weeks of use, you will observe that the oiliness will level out and you will start to experience a rebalanced scalp.
